When will the ZIM vs SA Tests be played?
The first Test will be played between June 28 and July 2, followed by the second match between July 6 and 10. Both matches will be played at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, with each day starting from 10 am local time.
While the series will be South Africa’s first outing since the World Test Championship 2025 final, the matches will not be a part of the 2027 cycle. The last time the two nations met in Test cricket was in 2017, when South Africa won by an innings and 120 runs courtesy of Aiden Markram’s 120. Overall, South Africa have dominated Zimbabwe completely, winning eight out of nine Tests with one ending in a draw.

Zimbabwe will be without several of its regular players. Ben Curran and Richard Ngarava are out due to injuries, while Sikandar Raza is unavailable because of MLC commitments. Seamer Victor Nyauchi has been omitted for tactical reasons.
South Africa, meanwhile, have named five uncapped players – Dewald Brevis, Lhuan-dre Pretorius, Lesego Senokwane, Codi Yusuf, and Prenelan Subrayen. Batter Zubayr Hamza has also been recalled. Keshav Maharaj will lead South Africa in the absence of Temba Bavuma, who has been ruled out due to an injury.
