AFG v BAN T20Is: When and where will the matches be played?

Soon after the conclusion of the Asia Cup, two of the participating sides will be in action against each other – the three T20Is between Afghanistan and Bangladesh will all take place at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, on the following dates (all matches begin at 7:00pm local time):

  • 1st T20I: October 2
  • 2nd T20I: October 3
  • 3rd T20I: October 5

      Afghanistan have called up two uncapped teenagers, Wafiullah Tarakhil and Bashir Ahmad, for the T20I series after both players enjoyed productive seasons in the 2025 Shpageeza Cricket League. Meanwhile, Bangladesh captain Litton Das is out of the series after an injury sustained during the Asia Cup. Jaker Ali will continue to take over the captaincy and wicketkeeping duties in his absence. Soumya Sarkar has also returned, after he was not picked for the Asia Cup.
