BPL 2026: Complete squads after the Bangladesh Premier League auction

The first BPL auction in 12 years was not a smooth sailing as four new teams were introduced: Chattogram Royals, Noakhali Express, Sylhet Titans and Rajshahi Warriors. Dhaka Capitals and Rangpur Riders were the only teams from the previous edition.

All six teams had directly signed two local players each ahead of the auction, with Chattogram Royals entering the fray with just one foreign signing, compared to two overseas direct signings for the other five sides.

Bangladesh opening batter Mohammad Naim was the costliest local buy in the auction, with Chattogram Royals signing him for BDT 1.1 crore (US$ 90,300). Among the overseas players, Dasun Shanaka fetched the highest bid of $55,000 from Dhaka Capitals.
