The ICC has announced the schedule for the 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup, to be played in England.
The 2026 Women’s World Cup, the 10th edition of the tournament, will be played between June 12 and July 5, 2026 across seven venues in England – Lord’s, The Oval, Headingley, Edgbaston, Old Trafford, Rose Bowl, and Bristol. The Oval will host both semi-finals on July 2, while Lord’s will host the final on July 5.

This will also be the first time the Women’s T20 World Cup will have as many as 12 teams. England have qualified directly as hosts; Australia, India, New Zealand, South Africa, and the West Indies by virtue of their positions at the 2024 edition; and Pakistan and Sri Lanka based on their rankings. They will be joined by the top four teams from the ten-team World Cup Qualifier, to be played in 2025.

India and Pakistan have been pitted in the same group, along with Australia, the most successful team in the history of the tournament, and South Africa, finalist in 2023 and 2024. Defending champions New Zealand, hosts England, 2016 champions West Indies, and Sri Lanka are in the other group. Each group will feature two teams from the qualifiers as well.
A salient feature of the 2026 edition will be several triple-headers – two day matches at the same venue, followed by a day-nighter in another.
