TNCA President's vs Maharashtra

In response to TNCA President’s XI’s first-innings total of 384-9, Maharashtra built a solid platform, riding on Prithvi Shaw’s half-century. Shaw, who has had a boom-or-bust start for his new team so far, scored 66 off 96 balls. He was supported by Harshal Kate’s 62. However, Maharashtra slipped from 155-2 to 228 all out, with Achyuth CV (3-50) being the standout bowler for TNCA President’s XI.

Thanks to twin centuries from C. Andre Siddarth and Baba Indrajith, TNCA President’s XI secured a 156-run first-innings lead. Their second innings began shakily, stumbling to 4-2, before the match ended in a draw.

Baroda vs Jammu and Kashmir

Having conceded a 104-run first-innings lead, Baroda couldn’t recover from the slump as Jammu and Kashmir bowlers Vanshaj Sharma (4-74) and Abid Mushtaq (4-78) ran through their batting order. Baroda declared their second innings on 182-9, setting up a chase of only 79. Jammu and Kashmir openers Vivrant Sharma (34 not out) and Yawar Hassan (48 not out) gunned down the chase in 24.3 overs. With the scores tied, Vivrant hit a four to seal the match.

Jammu and Kashmir’s win was set up by Qamran Iqbal (81) and Musaif Aijaz (80) in their first innings.

TNCA XI vs Haryana

TNCA XI posted 414-8 in 90 overs in the first innings. The innings was spearheaded by a century from No. 3 Athish S R, while TNPL 2025 leading run-scorer Tushar Raheja chipped in with 74. An unbeaten 46 off 20 from No. 7 and former Royal Challengers Bengaluru pacer Sonu Yadav put them in a dominant position.

In response, Haryana were bowled out for 207 after 63.2 overs. DT Chandrasekar picked up 5-67 for TNCA XI. Lakshya Dalal (72) was the only half-centurion for Haryana.

Odisha CA vs Indian Railways

Indian Railways were asked to chase 197 in the fourth innings, and they did so quite comfortably, riding on wicketkeeper Dinesh Mor’s 67. Earlier in the day, Odisha declared their second innings at 184-8 after Akash Pandey (4-64) shone for the Railways.

Raj Chaudhary (6-104) and Zubair Ali Khan (80) were the Railways’ heroes in the first innings.

Mumbai vs Bengal

The match started with Ishan Porel (4-37) bowling out Mumbai for 266 after 88 overs. Mumbai’s highest contribution came from No. 8 Himanshu Singh (59).

Bengal, in response, faced an early blow when Karan Lal fell for a duck. Then, a double-century stand between Aditya Purohit and Saurabh Singh settled the dust for them. Purohit scored 122, while Saurabh made 86. They later suffered a mini-collapse, losing four wickets for 82 runs, but the match eventually ended in a draw with Bengal at 325-5 after batting out 90 overs.

Jharkhand vs Hyderabad

The match went down to the wire, with defending champions Hyderabad clinching it at the end. Chasing an 84-run target, Hyderabad slipped to 61-8 after Rishav Raj (5-44) and Manishi (3-39) wreaked havoc. A handy 12 not out from Aniketh Reddy got the chasing team over the line, with Reddy finishing off with a six.

P. Nitish Reddy set up the win for Hyderabad in the first innings with a score of 106, securing a 47-run first-innings lead. Then, Tanay Thyagarajan (4-74) skittled out Jharkhand for 130 in their second innings.

Himachal Pradesh vs Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh declared their first innings at 227-6 in response to Himachal Pradesh’s 144. Despite conceding the first-innings lead, Himachal Pradesh were at 74-2 in their second innings when the match was drawn. Chhattisgarh’s Varun Singh Bhuie (4-35) and Rishi Sharma (51) were their top performers.

Madhya Pradesh vs Punjab

Punjab were asked to chase 66 in the fourth innings at the closing stages of the match. They gunned it down in 6.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Former India Under-19 World Cup captain Uday Saharan sealed the game with a four. That’s a fitting end for Saharan, who top-scored for Punjab in the first innings with 109 to secure a 165-run first innings lead.
