The 2025 edition of the All India Buchi Babu Invitational Cricket Tournament will be organised by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) from August 18 to September 9, across multiple venues in Chennai. Here are the squads of all teams.
What is the format of the Buchi Babu tournament?
The competition will feature 16 teams, including 14 state sides and two TNCA selections, the President’s XI and TNCA XI. These teams have been placed into four groups of four, with each side playing the other three in its group once. League matches will be three-day fixtures, with 90 overs per side in the first innings and 45 overs in the second. The group winners will progress to the semifinals, while the knockouts will be four-day matches of 90 overs per innings.
