Mah-E-Par Stars captain Darwish Rasooli scored two hundreds in the same first-class match against the Pamir Legends in an Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day match.
Rasooli’s incredible run in first-class cricket continued against Pamir Legends. On the first day, he had made 134 in 184 balls (18 fours) to take the Mah-E-Par to 337 as Fareed Ahmad returned 3-86 and Qais Ahmad 4-62. Rasooli was the only one to reach fifty in the innings.
Despite Rahmanullah’s 74, the Pamir Legends were then bowled out for 221 against Sharafuddin Ashraf (4-44) and Khalil Gurbaz (4-47).
With an eye on the declaration, Mah-E-Par batted at a brisk pace on the third day. Rasooli came to the forefront again, this time with a 122-ball 116 – his second hundred of the match – with 16 fours and a six despite having retired hurt on 83. Rasooli eventually declared on 402-8 as Nageyalia Kharote returned 5-77. Chasing 519, Pamir were 122-2 in 24 overs at stumps on the third day.

- Bahir’s 303 not out was the first first-class triple hundred on Afghan soil. It remained the only one until Usman Noori hit 339 in the ongoing Ahmad Shah Abdali tournament. Usman’s 339, in turn, is the highest maiden first-class hundred by any batter.
