
Corbin Bosch’s remarkable performance at Bulawayo catapulted him into the top 20 in the ICC rankings for men’s Test all-rounders.
Australia beat the West Indies at Bridgetown to go 1-0 up in the three-match Test series. Travis Head’s 59 and 61 in the Test helped him jump three places in the Test batting rankings. He entered the top ten, displacing Saud Shakeel at 10th place.
The other change in the top ten featured Temba Bavuma, whose rating dropped from 806 to 798 after he missed the Test against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo. As a result, Bavuma slipped to seventh place, while Rishabh Pant moved up to sixth.
In the Test Bavuma missed, debutant Lhuan-dre Pretorius made a record-breaking 153; Wiaan Mulder scored 147; Bosch made 100 not out in the first innings; and for Zimbabwe, Sean Williams got 137. Mulder jumped 17 places to 56th, Bosch 15 places to 59th, and Williams two places to 15th, while Pretorius opened at 68th.

Hazlewood returned 2-41 and 5-43 to overtake Noman Ali and scale fourth place. Marco Jansen missed the Zimbabwe Test, while Nathan Lyon had 1-28 and 2-20. These resulted in them dropping below Matt Henry, who is now sixth. Jayden Seales (5-60 and 1-70) swapped places with Mitchell Starc (3-65 and 1-44): they are now ninth and tenth. Shamar Joseph, meanwhile, claimed 4-46 and 5-87 to occupy the joint-35th place.
Bosch’s bowling (0-31 and 5-43) helped him gain massive ground as well: he climbed 45 places in one go and is now 57th.

Bosch’s all-round feat helped him jump from 61st to 19th in the all-rounder’s chart – an astonishing rank for anyone after two Tests. Teammate Mulder had four first-innings wickets to go with his hundred as well: he rose from 22nd to 15th.
The only change in the top ten was Starc’s, who dropped from joint-eighth – a rank he used to share with Joe Root – to ninth.
