India all-rounder Radha Yadav starred in the Inter Zonal One-Day Trophy final on Sunday (March 15).
West Zone win One-Day Trophy after Radha Yadav rescue act
West Zone put Central Zone in to bat at the BCCI Centre of Excellence, Ground 1 on Sunday. Pragya Rawat accounted for Nuzhat Parween early before Varnika and Shipra Giri put on 84 for the second wicket. The two of them, as well as Minnu Mani, departed in quick succession to leave Central Zone 115-4 before Muskan (54) and India international Pooja Vastrakar (72) stitched a 112-run stand. They finished on 252-6.

West Zone were in deep trouble early on; Humairaa Kaazi, Simran and Umeshwari Jethva were all dismissed in the first two overs, leaving them at 5-3. Tejal Hasabnis and Poonam Khemnar took them to 53-3, but that soon became 68-6 as both of them departed either side of captain Anuja Patil.
That brought No.7 Radha Yadav and No.8 Shweta Mane together in the 19th over. The two of them survived 28.5 overs together, putting on 174 runs at just over run-a-ball; a stand containing just two extras. Yadav was run out by Sampada Dixit to end the partnership, when West Zone needed another 11 to win off 15 balls. Mane and Pragya Rawat completed that to win the match and the title.

The Yadav-Mane stand is now the highest for the seventh wicket or lower in women's List A cricket in India, the second-highest anywhere in the world, and only the third in excess of 150. Trinidad & Tobago's Kirbyina Alexander and Stacy-Ann King hold the record of 191, scored against Wales in 2011.
Yadav features once more in the top ten; in 2021, she and C Pratyusha put on 139 to take India C from 41-6 to 180-7 against India A in the Challenger Trophy. They did not win that match, though.
