Virat Kohli of India and teammate Rohit Sharma celebrate following the team's victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Final between India and New Zealand at Dubai International Stadium on March 09, 2025 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

After drawing the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2-2 following a thrilling six-run victory at The Oval, India face a tight multi-format schedule ahead. Here’s the full India men’s cricket schedule for the remaining 2025 season.

India were supposed to tour Bangladesh for three ODIs and as many T20Is in August. However, the tour has now been cancelled, as announced by the BCCI in a statement in July. While the official reason cited was "scheduling convenience for both teams," Cricbuzz reported that it was due to India’s deteriorating bilateral relations with its eastern neighbour.

The Asia Cup was also in limbo amid tensions between India and Pakistan. However, the tournament has now been given the green light and will be played in the United Arab Emirates, with defending champions India still retaining the hosting rights.

India men's schedule for remainder of 2025:

Asia Cup 2025 (UAE)

T20Is in September

India’s next assignment is the upcoming Asia Cup in September. The tournament will switch to the T20I format as a precursor to next year’s T20 World Cup.

The defending champions will begin their campaign against Group A rivals United Arab Emirates on September 10, followed by matches against Pakistan on September 14 and Oman on September 19.

India v West Indies (home)

Two Tests in October

India are hosting the West Indies in a Test series for the first time in seven years, having won the previous one 2-0 in 2018. This tour will also mark the start of India’s home Test season for the 2025–27 World Test Championship cycle.

Australia v India (away)

Three ODIs and five T20Is in October-November

After playing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in December-January during the 2024-25 season, India will return to Australia for another tour featuring three ODIs and five T20Is. Star players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are expected to be back in action for the ODI leg. The two teams last met in the semi-final of the Champions Trophy, where India won by four wickets before eventually clinching the title.

South Africa v India (home)

Two Tests, three ODIs, five T20Is in November-December

India’s calendar year caps off with two Tests, three ODIs, and five T20Is against South Africa at home. They last clashed in a four-match T20I series in November last year, which India won 3-1.
