Sanju Samson will play in the Kerala Cricket League

The Kerala Cricket League T20 (KCL T20) will return on August 21 at the Greenfield International Stadium Thiruvananthapuram, with plenty of big names in action on opening night. Here's where to watch the competition live on TV and live streaming details.

Six teams are set to battle it out over an exciting two-and-a-half weeks and 33 games of cricket to see who will come out as champions. This will be the second season of the KCL T20, and defending champions Aries Kollam Sailors will face off against Trivandrum Royals, Kochi Blue Tigers, Calicut Globstars, Thrissur Titans, and Alleppey Ripples in a double round-robin, followed by a knock out semi-final and final.

India international and Kerala favourite, Sanju Samson will feature for Kochi Blue Tigers alongside his brother Saly who will captain the side. The younger Samson was the competition's most expensive buy, after he was bought by the Tigers for 26.8 lakh.

Last year the tournament became part of a list of state-run franchise leagues in India, joining competitions such as the UPT20, Bengal Pro T20, and Delhi Premier League.
