Super Giants and Trent Rockets were involved in an intense bidding for the Australian opener, who eventually went to the latter. Joint-costliest buy so far, with Sophie Devine. 

Southern Brave opened the bidding for the Australia captain, before Sunrisers stepped in.

MI London opened the bidding, and Southern Brave joined in for the veteran New Zealand all-rounder. MI seemed to have closed it when Welsh Fire stepped in. Devine is so far the most expensive acquisition, with Dani Gibson now in second.

Sunrisers Leeds open the bidding for the Indian all-rounder, and that turned out to be the closing bid.

London Spirit and Southern Brave opened the bidding, and it soon turned intense, driving the price above £150k.

Nadine De Klerk, Sophie Devine, Deepti Sharma, Beth Mooney and Sophie Molineux are part of the next lot.

Southern Brave and Manchester Super Giants fought it out initially for Gibson, before the Sunrisers and Welsh Fire stepped in, making her the costliest buy from the marquee domestic group.

Trent Rockets opened the bidding, and Birmingham Phoenix joined them later, and eventually signed the opener. 

Trent Rockets and Southern Brave opened the bidding for the leg-spinner. Birmingham Phoenix came into it late, but Brave beat them to her signing.

London Spirit opened the bidding, and Sunrisers Leeds jumped in at the last minute. The wicketkeeper eventually went to London.

Having previously managed IPL and SA20 auctions, Richard Madley will oversee the first-ever The Hundred auction.

There has been a lot of talk about the Pakistan players and whether they would be shadow-banned by the IPL-owned franchises in The Hundred.

Two Pakistan players will go under the hammer today:

Left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal and star all-rounder Fatima Sana.
