When and where will the UAE vs BAN T20Is be played?
Both matches will be played at the Sharjah International Cricket Stadium, on May 17 and May 19. They will both start at 7:00pm local time (8:30pm IST, 4:00pm UK time).
What's UAE's head-to-head T20I record like vs Bangladesh?
These sides have met in three T20Is before this series, with Bangladesh winning all three. The first was in Mirpur during the 2016 Asia Cup, which Bangladesh won by 51 runs despite posting just 133. Mahmudullah was the star on the day, scoring 36* (27) and picking up 2-5.
In 2022, Bangladesh toured UAE for a two-match series, like the upcoming one. They won the first match by seven runs, before managing a more comfortable 32-run victory in the second game – both were held in Dubai.
UAE vs BAN 2025 T20Is: Squad news
UAE announced their squad just two days before the series was set to begin. They have included three uncapped players in Ethan D'Souza, Matiullah Khan and Haider Ali, while star batter Muhammad Waseem has been reappointed as captain, after stepping down from the role last October.
Bangladesh have named a 16-man squad but have had to deal with a few headaches relating to No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) for their players to participate in the PSL and IPL, both of which are resuming on the same day as the start of this series. Mustafizur Rahman will be available for the first match, before joining Delhi Capitals in the IPL.
