 West Indies ChampionsBiography
Samuel Badree, the Trinidad-born leg spinner first appeared for his native side on the first-class front in 2001/02, but was unable to fix his place in the Trinidad & Tobago side later.
Badree played an important role in his team's victory against Barbados in the 2008 WICB Cup final and grabbed limelight with the Man of the Match award. He did not make it to the Stanford Superstars squad, despite being named in the 32-man probable team. But, he was very much a part of his team when they beat Middlesex to win the Stanford Super Series. He represented Trinidad and Tobago in the 2011 Champions League T20 and was a vital cog in the setup. The following year, he debuted in the T20I side for the series against New Zealand in USA. Being signed up by Jaipur in 2013 in the Indian T20 league, Chennai bagged his services in the following season.
