To score a Test hundred is rare. To take ten wickets in a Test, even more so – for at most two can do so for the same side in the same match. However, there have been some cricketers who have done both (some of them even in the same Test!).

The list includes four all-time greats, whose co-existence led to the 1980s being branded as The Decade of the All-Rounders. There is also an Indian, the only cricketer with two double tons and two eight-wicket hauls; an Australian with more than ten thousand Test runs; two Pakistani specialist spinners, not known for their batting at all; and quite a few active Test players.
