On November 19, 2025, Mushfiqur became the first player from Bangladesh to play 100 Test matches when he took the field against Ireland – he was also unbeaten on 99 at stumps on day one, a first for anyone in their 100th Test. He also became only the fifth player ever to record a century of appearances in each of the three formats at international level.
