It is logical to assume that this list has several batting all-rounders. However, specialist bowlers feature in this quiz as well. Some of them were not part of very strong sides, which denied them a lot of wickets. Somewhat paradoxically, some others played for very strong teams, which resulted in wickets getting shared – in other words, fewer five-wicket hauls.

It is worth remembering that this list includes streaks for bowlers between two consecutive Test five-wicket hauls. In other words, the number of Tests before their maiden five-for (or after their last five-for) are not reflected here; neither is the gap between two non-consecutive Tests.
