The latest edition of the T20 World Cup saw by far the most sixes hit in a single edition of the 20-over ICC tournament, with 780 maximums scored across 54 games. In comparison, the 2024 World Cup had seen 517 sixes hit across 52 games, while 405 maximums were hit during the 2021 World Cup and 331 in 2022.

India's batting star, who took the knockouts by storm, leads the most sixes chart for the recently concluded competition with 24, the most in a single edition and four more than his nearest competitor from New Zealand, who hit 20 in three extra innings.

A West Indian middle-order batter, who came close to taking his team through to the last four, is third on this list. The fourth and fifth spots are occupied by a Pakistan and an India top-order batter, respectively. Just two England batters make this list, both of whom hit 14 sixes each in the tournament.
