The first ever Test match, back in 1876/77, produced the first ever Test hundred, and obviously the first from the team. That century also set a unique record that stands to this day.

Across men's and women's cricket, 23 different teams have taken part in a Test match. Three of them – ICC World XI Men, Ireland Women and Netherlands Women – do not have a player that scored a century for that team.

The other twenty do, and unsurprisingly England Men lead the count with a total of 945 individual Test centuries so far. Australia Men (906) are the only other team with more than 600.

Three teams – Pakistan Women, Sri Lanka Women and West Indies Women – have exactly one century each.
