Batting records – innings, match, series, or career – invariably revolve around multiples of 50. The batters at the top of the Test fifties or hundreds charts are more or less well known and easy to guess. Double hundreds are, however, rare; 250s, even more so. Until April 16, 2026, only 19 batters have reached 250 multiple times in Test cricket.

These champions of “daddy hundreds” include four men with two triple hundreds each (two of them had a third score of 290 on top of that!). On the other hand, there are some who, despite featuring in this elite list, have never gone on to score 265.
