Over the decades, two batters from Sri Lanka have crossed the 10,000-run mark in Test cricket. One of them even averages over 57 in the format. The duo have a combined of 72 Test tons along with 102 fifties, emerging as the mainstays of the batting order when they played.

Until May 27, 2026, 11 Sri Lankans have made more than 5,000 Test runs, and 38 have crossed 1,000 runs. Of them, two averaged over 50, and two others over 45. We have put the bar at 2,000.
