After rain abandoned the first day (November 30) of India’s tour game against Australia Prime Minister’s XI, the weather for the second day (December 1) isn’t looking promising either. Here's the rain forecast for the second day of AUS PM XI vs IND fixture.

India are playing the two-day tour game before the pink-ball Test in Adelaide starting December 6. They are coming off a historic 295-run win in Perth. Despite being bowled out for 150 in the first innings, Jasprit Bumrah’s 5-30 brought the tourists back in the game by skittling out Australia for 104. Yashasvi Jaiswal (161) and Virat Kohli (100*) then helped India set a target of 534, proving decisive to their win.

No play was possible on the opening day due to inclement weather. The toss will now take place at 2.10 pm local time on day two, with both teams agreeing to a 50-over-a-side contest.

Australia PM XI vs India, Day 2: What is the rain forecast?

There's rain predicted on the second day as well. Google Weather predicts a 15 per cent chance of precipitation around 2 pm local time, which could go on to affect the next three hours of play, easing up thereafter.

According to BBC Weather, chances of prediction range from 25 per cent to 36 per cent from 2 pm to 6 pm before improving thereafter. "Light rainy showers and a moderate breeze" are predicted throughout the day.

AccuWeather paints a bleaker picture, with a 70 per cent chance of rainfall throughout the day. A "minor flood watch" alert has been issued till 7.53 pm local time.
