Worcestershire lost all 10 of their second innings wickets in the space of 49 runs in their County Championship fixture at New Road, with Callum Parkinson running riot, taking five wickets for nine runs.
Callum Parkinson Leads Worcestershire's Dramatic Collapse
Only Worcestershire's openers made it into double figures in their second innings as the game turned on its head. Having bowled Durham out for 268 and secured a 40-run first innings lead, they were bowled out for 102 to leave the visitors needing only a small fourth-innings total.
Opening pair Daniel Lategan and Jake Libby put on a 53-run partnership before Kasey Aldridge castled Libby's off-stump with a pearler. Ben Raine followed up by dismissing Lategan in the next over to get rid of the other opener. From there, its was a line of dominos.

Kashif Ali spooned a ball from Aldridge into the leg side before Parkinson got into the action. He claimed his first victim with the first ball of his spell, Adam Hose spooning a ball back to the bowler for a soft dismissal. Parkinson's second wicket was another caught and bowled, Brett D'Oliveira this time playing a near identical shot to Hose.
Ethan Brookes' dismissal gave Parkinson figures of 3-4, a turning ball taking the outside edge of his bat and looping to first slip. Matthew Waite was bowled through the gate by Parkinson before Ben Stokes got into the action, he trapped Tom Taylor lbw with the second ball of his spell.
Parkinson claimed his five-for with the wicket of Gareth Roderick, the wicketkeeper-batter slogging a loopy delivery up in the air and into the hands of Ben McKinney. Parkinson's figures at that point read 5-9, and he ended the innings with figures of 5-12.
Stokes claimed the final wicket of the innings, nicking off Harry Darley to slip, leaving Durham needing 143 runs to win.
