Trinbago Knight Riders sign Saurabh Netravalkar to replace Mohammed Amir
TKR have signed Netravalkar as a temporary injury replacement for Pakistan's Amir. Amir has been the side's joint-highest wicket-taker with 11 wickets to his name, at an average of 20.90 and an economy of 8.31.
Amir's last appearance was against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on September 1, when he hobbled off the field in pain with just two deliveries remaining in his spell. Although captain Nicholas Pooran initially described it as a "niggle" after Amir missed the next match against Saint Lucia Kings two days later, the bowler missed the subsequent game against the Guyana Amazon Warriors on September 6 as well, leading to TKR roping in Netravalkar.
"Saurabh will be a TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT for the injured Mohammed Amir, who is continuing his journey to recovery with the TKR medical team at #CPL25," TKR announced on their social media platforms.

Netravalkar joins ahead of TKR’s final group match against the Royals on September 12. With 12 points – the joint-most with table-toppers Saint Lucia Kings – TKR has already qualified for the playoffs.
