
Here are the latest Test team rankings after England defeated India, and Australia thrashed West Indies on July 14.
Two Test matches came to an end in contrasting fashion on the same day. On Monday (July 14), England overcame India at Lord's in a nail-biter – eventually winning by 22 runs after the first-innings scores ended level.
The hosts are now 2-1 up in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, with two matches still to play in Manchester on July 23 and back in London at The Oval on July 31.
Hours after the Lord's Test concluded, the third Test of the Frank Worrell Trophy, between West Indies and Australia ended in Kingston. Day three of that match began with Australia 99-6 in the third innings of the match, building on a first-innings lead of 82 runs.
They were eventually bowled out for 121, before Mitchell Starc (6-9) struck thrice in the first over of West Indies' chase of 204. The hosts slid to 7-5 and 11-6 before Scott Boland (3-2) claimed a hat-trick to reduce them to 26-9. Starc took the final wicket to bowl them out for 27, the second-lowest score in Test history.
Following those results, Australia and England currently occupy the top two spots of the 2025-27 World Test Championship table.
Latest ICC Test team rankings
The ICC Test team rankings as of July 14 have seen no change in the standings from the previous update (July 8). A couple of teams have changes in their rating, though.
Australia have improved from 123 to 124, while West Indies have gone from 73 to 72. The rest of the table remains unchanged.
