Ben Duckett, Jamie Smith make massive leaps

Since the last update to the rankings last week, England and West Indies faced off in a three-match T20I series, which the hosts won 3-0, sealing the whitewash with a 37-run win in Southampton last night (June 10).

      Opening batters Ben Duckett and Jamie Smith have both been rewarded with massive boosts in the rankings. They scored 115 and 102 runs respectively in three matches, at strike rates of 169 and 200. Duckett has moved up 48 places to No.16, and Smith has risen a stunning 192 spots, to 75th.

      Top scorer in the series with 165 runs, Jos Buttler moved up one spot to re-enter the top five in the world. West Indies captain Shai Hope also made a significant jump of 14 places, to No.15.

      Adil Rashid closes in on No.1

      In the bowling rankings, leg-spinner Adil Rashid's four wickets in the series pushed him up two places to second in the world, behind New Zealand's Jacob Duffy. West Indies' Akeal Hosein, meanwhile, slipped three spots to No.5.
