India hosted Australia for a three-match series which finished 2-1 in the visitors' favour: here are the updated ICC women's ODI team rankings after the IND vs AUS series.
India vs Australia: Women's ODI series recap
A high-scoring series saw scores upwards of 280 in all but one out of the six innings played by both teams. Fifties from Smriti Mandhana (58), Pratika Rawal (64), and Harleen Deol (54) and cameos from the rest of the order saw India put up 281-7 in the first ODI in New Chandigarh. But it wasn't enough as Phoebe Litchfield's (80) opening masterclass coupled with half-centuries from Beth Mooney (77) and Annabel Sutherland (54) ensured a comfortable eight-wicket win for Australia with more than five overs to go.
In the second match, the hosts hit back. Mandhana more than doubled her score from the first match to score a 77-ball hundred. Despite a wobble in the middle, a late cameo by Sneh Rana (24 off 18) at No.9 helped India put up 292. Australia lost two early wickets in the chase and never recovered. Their batters got starts, but none crossed 50. Kranti Goud picked up 3-28 as India registered a historic win, inflicting the first-ever 100-plus-run women's ODI defeat on Australia.

The third match of the series shattered several records. Mooney (138 off 75) starred in the first innings with a 57-ball hundred accompanied by a 68-ball 81 by Georgia Voll. Australia racked up 412, and yet, had their hearts in their mouths for a major part of India's chase. Mandhana continued her incredible form and eclipsed Mooney's effort from earlier in the day with a 50-ball ton, the fastest by an Indian in the format - irrespective of gender - and the second-fastest overall in women's ODIs.
Harmanpreet Kaur joined in with a 32-ball 50 as well, but both departed in quick succession as India fell from 206-2 in 20 overs to 216-4 in 21.1. Deepti Sharma (72 off 58) and Sneh Rana (35 off 41) threatened a late heist, but the target proved too much as India fell short by 43 runs.
