Mumbai Indians thrashed Rajasthan Royals in Match 50 of IPL 2025. Here's what the points table looks like after the result.
MI were put in to bat in Jaipur after Riyan Parag won the toss. The visitors' openers, Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton, put on a show with a 116-run opening stand in 11.5 overs.

Rickelton was the first to go for 61, and Rohit went the following over for 53. But that had little effect on the scoring rate as Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya continued to take down Rajasthan's bowlers with ease. By the end of the innings, they had each scored an unbeaten 48 off 23 balls, and MI finished on 217-2.

In reply, RR lost Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the first two overs, and never really recovered. The middle-order collapsed as they slid from 41-2 to 47-5, and then 76-7. The ninth wicket fell at 91, before Jofra Archer (30) and Akash Madhwal (4*) put on 26, the highest partnership of the innings. MI ran out winners by 100 runs after Boult dismissed Archer.

The massive win has boosted MI's already impressive net run rate, and lifted them to the top of the table ahead of RCB. RR, meanwhile, remain in eighth place and are now mathematically out of the running for the playoffs.
