RCB will meet PBKS in the IPL 2025 final today (June 3) in Ahmedabad: find all match updates including live score, commentary, toss updates and more from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Punjab Kings final here.
After more than two months of action, it all comes down to this: two teams that have never won the IPL before, all set to fight for their first title.
RCB have a lot more experience of being at this stage than PBKS, having qualified for the finals thrice before - in 2009, 2011, and 2016. PBKS, on the other hand, have played only one IPL final - in 2014.
To add to the drama of the occasion, there's also some rain around in Ahmedabad which can potentially delay proceedings. You can find the latest weather updates from the venue of the IPL final here.

IPL Final - RCB vs PBKS: Team news
Good news for RCB fans: each IPL season since 2018 has been won by the team that won Qualifier 1. Bad news: that is no guarantee that RCB will lift the trophy. They have, however, gelled well as a unit this season, a characteristic that they haven't always been known for. There were question marks around Phil Salt's availability for the final as the RCB opener had gone home for the birth of his child, but he has returned and should be available for the final.

Punjab are coming off a galvanising victory in the Qualifier 2 led by their captain Shreyas Iyer's epic knock. While their lengthy batting order crumbled against RCB in the first qualifier in Mullanpur, conditions aren't expected to be that spicy in Ahmedabad, which should allow their batters to make their presence felt.
Head-to-head, it is as tight as it gets between these two teams. RCB and PBKS have both won 18 games each against each other since the start of the IPL. This year, RCB have won two, while PBKS have won one.
