The mini-auction for IPL 2026 will see the ten teams filling their remaining slots ahead of the tournament next year. Each team retained their core going into the auction, with teams also undergoing trade deals to bolster their squads.
The auction action has been quite exciting so far, with Cameron Green becoming the most expensive overseas player ever, and Matheesha Pathirana earning INR 18 crore. Venkatesh Iyer has also moved to RCB. The uncapped Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma have also earned over 10 crore each.

It was also reported that the IPL 2026 will run from March 26 to May 31.
