At Chepauk, Josh Inglis’ belligerent 33-ball 85 took LSG to 77-0 after five overs before they collapsed dramatically to 147-6. Shahbaz Ahmed(43* in 25) then took them to 203-8 as Jamie Overton returned 3-36. In response, Urvil Patel(65 in 23) equalled the record for the fastest fifty in IPL history, but despite that, CSK slipped to 169-5. They eventually won with five wickets and four balls to spare.

At Raipur, Bhuvneshwar Kumar(4-23) rocked MI, reducing them to 28-3 with a triple strike. Naman Dhir(47 in 32) and Tilak Varma(57 in 42) then helped MI reach 166-7. RCB, too, became 39-3 in response. Krunal Pandya (73 in 46) pushed RCB closer to the target, but Corbin Bosch’s (4-26) strikes and Jasprit Bumrah’s excellent death bowling pulled them back. With nine to score in three balls, Bhuvneshwar hit a six and ran a single before Rasikh Salam Dar ran the couple that sealed RCB’s win.
