Ireland are set to host India for a two-T20I series, starting June 26. Here's how the two squads stack up ahead of the first T20I.
When and where will the Ireland vs India matches be played?
The first match of the T20I series between India and Ireland will be played on Friday, June 26, with the second game scheduled on Sunday, June 28. Both the games will be played at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast, and will get underway at 1.30pm local time (6pm IST).

India dropped former captain Suryakumar Yadav, who led them to the T20 World Cup earlier this year, with Shreyas Iyer appointed the skipper following his impressive run as captain in the IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders and Punjab Kings. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's potential international debut is probably the biggest talking point of the series.
The selectors were also forced into a couple of changes before the team left for the UK. Prasidh Krishna replaced Mohammad Siraj, with the BCCI resting the latter to manage his workload. India were also dealt a major blow when all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy was ruled out due to a quadriceps injury. They were already without first-choice all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Suryansh Shedge received his maide international call-up to replace Reddy in the T20I squads for the Ireland and England tours. Varun Chakaravarthy has been ruled out of Ireland T20Is as well.
As for Ireland, they have appointed Lorcan Tucker as captain after Paul Stirling stepped down post the T20 World Cup. The hosts have been hit with a spate of injuries, with Stirling missing out, along with five seamers, due to respective injuries - Josh Little, Mark Adair, Curtis Campher, Barry McCarthy, and Jordan Neill.
Several debuts are in line for Ireland. Reuben Wilson could make his international white-ball debut, while leg-spinning all-rounder Gavin Hoey could make his T20I bow. India-born Jai Moondra and fellow quick Matt Hollard could make their international debuts as well.
