Sikandar Raza completes 1,000 run-100 wicket T20I double
Sikandar Raza’s brilliant all-round outing against Sri Lanka condemned the Asian side to a 67-run defeat in the second game of the ongoing T20I tri-series in Pakistan. Raza scored 47 off 32 to take his side to 162-8 before dismissing Kamindu Mendis to complete 100 wickets in T20I cricket. The victory was Zimbabwe's biggest over a Full Member nation in men's T20I cricket.

In the process, he became the third men’s cricketer and 11th overall to have scored 1000 runs and picked up 100 or more wickets in T20I cricket. Ellyse Perry was the first to achieve the milestone, followed by Pakistan great Nida Dar. Shakib Al Hasan was the first men’s cricketer to join the club, followed by Mohammad Nabi.
Overall, Raza now has 2823 runs and 100 wickets in T20Is, and is placed second in ICC men's T20I rankings for all-rounders. He will almost certainly add to his tally in the remainder of the tri-series, with Zimbabwe set to play two more games before the final.
The African side are currently top of the tri-series standings on net run-rate, and are the only side to have played two games. They lost a close match to Pakistan first up, but bounced back nicely against Sri Lanka to open their account.
