The player auction for the 2026 Pakistan Super League will be held on February 11 - here’s all the live updates, latest news and full squads for each team.

The first-ever player auction for the PSL is being held on Wednesday (February 11), with the pre-existing six teams joined by two new sides. Hyderabad and Sialkot are the new entrants in the edition, which will be held in the last week on March.

Ahead of the auction, each team could retain four players each, with the biggest headlines being the releases of Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans) and Haris Rauf (Lahore Qalandars). Babar Azam, Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi were all retained by their respective sides, while Steve Smith was a major pre-auction signing by Sialkot.

What are the auction purses of all teams?

Each franchise had an auction purse of PKR 45 crore, which can be extended to PKR 50.5 crore, if they directly sign one overseas player who did not feature in the PSL last season.

Ahead of the auction, Hyderabad and Rawalpindi (formerly Multan) have the highest auction purse, at PKR 50.5 crore, while Quetta Gladiators have a purse of PKR 33.14 crore.

Where to watch the PSL auction live?

The auction can be viewed live around the globe on the official YouTube channel of the PCB, while it will also be live-streamed on Tapmadm Tamasha and Myco in the country.
