Hunain Shah and Mohammad Ali took three wickets each for Hyderabad Kingsmen after Marnus Labuschagne opted to bowl first in Karachi. They restricted Rawalpindiz to 121-9, with only Sam Billings and Yasir Khan scoring more than 20 runs. Hyderabad stuttered their way to 69-5 in the chase before Kusal Perera and Irfan Khan added 54 runs for the sixth wicket to see them through.

Who were the top performers in KK vs IU?
Karachi were sent into bat first, but their innings never really took off. Reeza Hendricks and Jason Roy added 62 runs for the second wicket but took 40 deliveries, while the former’s 54-run stand with Azam Khan came off 45 balls as well. Hendricks remained unbeaten at 51 off 44. Richard Gleeson and Shadab Khan took two wickets each for Islamabad.
The chase was made fairly straightforward by Sameer Minhas’ third fifty of the season. He was dismissed for 58 off 36 after a 92-run opening stand with Devon Conway, with Islamabad left needing just 58 more runs from 10 overs. Devon Conway remained unbeaten at 53 off 36 as Islamabad won by eight wickets.
