Rawalpindiz fell to their seventh consecutive defeat of the PSL 2026 season and remained at the bottom of the points table, yet to open their account. Lahore, meanwhile, jumped over Karachi Kings to take the sixth spot with their third win of the campaign.

Who were the top performers in LQ vs RWP?
Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Farooq provided a fiery start to Lahore Qalandars, putting up a 121-run opening stand. Farooq scored 63 off 41, while Fakhar was dismissed for a 54-ball 84. Mohammad Amir was the pick of the bowlers for Rawalpindi, dismissing both Fakhar and Farooq, while conceding only 25 runs in four overs.
Yasir Khan put up a lone fight from the top order for Rawalpindiz, scoring 58 runs off 29 deliveries, with six fours and three sixes. Saad Masood finished at 54 off 26 from No.7, but the game was long gone. Lahore came up with a combined bowling effort, with Haris Rauf taking three wickets, whereas Shaheen Afridi and Usama Mir picked up two each.
