Rawalpindiz registered their first-ever win in the PSL. Islamabad batted first, but struggled to get going. Devon Conway top-scored for them with a 33-ball 40. Chris Green played a handy knock of 29 off 16 to take them to 137. Mohammad Amir, Saad Masood and Dian Forrester all took two wickets each. Captain Mohammad Rizwan led the chase for Rawalpindi with a 45-run knock, while Kamran Ghulam contributed with 42 runs.

Lahore batted first in the match and Fakhar Zaman was once again among the runs, hitting 61 off 41 balls. Abdullah Shafique scored even quicker for his 36-ball 62 as they posted 199-6. Moeen Ali took two wickets for 26 runs from his four overs, before hitting 39 off 17 with the bat. Captain David Warner stayed unbeaten on 63 off 44, whereas Khushdil Shah hit two fours and five sixes in his 14-ball 44 to take them over the line.
