Here's what Karachi Kings' win over Quetta Gladiators has done to the PSL 2026 points table.
Karachi Kings secure come-from-behind win over Quetta Gladiators
Karachi were put in to bat by Saud Shakeel, and after the early loss of Muhammad Waseem, recovered thanks to a 41-run stand in 3.1 overs between Salman Ali Agha and David Warner. But a middle-overs slide saw them reduced to 109-5, before Moeen Ali accelerated to finish on 48 off 29 and power the Kings to 181-7. For Quetta, Ahmed Daniyal took 3-36.
Twenty-one-year-old Shamyl Hussain stole the show early on in the chase, thrashing a 21-ball half-century on PSL debut and putting on 79 in seven overs with his captain. Shakeel was dismissed at the halfway stage, but Quetta were still ahead of the eight-ball at 95-3. Rilee Rossouw and Hasan Nawaz were both tied down though, as the asking rate mounted. By the time the pair were dismissed, Quetta needed 34 off 10 with five wickets in hand. It was a bridge too far, and they fell short by 14 runs – Hasan Ali was the star in the second innings with 4-27.
