Hyderabad Kingsmen’s 225-5 was not enough in the PSL 2026 game as Multan Sultans chased the target with ease. Here’s how the points table stacks up after the no-result.
PSL 2026: Who were the top performers in HK vs MS?
After two defeats in two games, Hyderabad Kingsmen seemed to turn things around with 225-5. Maaz Sadaqat smashed a 26-ball 62 at the top, while Sharjeel Khan, playing his first PSL game after three seasons, remained unbeaten on a 26-ball 51. For Multan Sultans, Mohammad Wasim Jr returned 2-37 in four overs.
Unfortunately, even this huge total turned out to be inadequate when Multan Sultans came out all guns blazing. Opening the batting, Steve Smith smashed a 20-ball 46, while Shan Masood smashed 29 in 16 balls from No.4.
However, the star of the chase was Sahibzada Farhan, whose 57-ball unbeaten 106 was his ninth T20 hundred, the second-most by a Pakistani. Multan Sultans completed the chase with eight balls (and six wickets) in hand to get a reasonable net run boost.
