Who are the players to watch out for?
Quetta may have only one win in four games, but their all-domestic top four is an exciting group of players; youngster Shamyl Hussain struck two fifties to start his PSL career, while Hasan Nawaz and Khawaja Nafay both have the ability to make an impact. Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq have not been at their best, so the 2025 finalists will be hoping today is the day that starts to change.
Rawalpindiz are currently bottom of the table, still searching for their first win as a PSL franchise. Just like Quetta, they have four Pakistan batters at the top of the order, but the main draw for them is the overseas contingent. Sam Billings and Daryl Mitchell have made important contributions through the middle, and young South African all-rounder Dian Forrester has looked a supremely powerful hitter in his two games so far. Rishad Hossain has struggled so far though, averaging 155 with the ball after four games. If things don't turn around soon, he could find himself out of the side.
