
The 2025 T20 Blast group stage starts on Thursday (May 29). Here are all the overseas players currently signed up for the competition.
When will T20 Blast 2025 be played?
A total of 52 matches will be played from May 29 onward. After the group stage concludes on July 17, there’s a significant gap before the playoff stage begins with the quarterfinals on September 3, leading to the semi-finals and the final on September 13.

How many teams will play in T20 Blast 2025?
Like last edition, a total of 18 teams divided into the North Group and the South Group will be vying for the title. Gloucestershire are the current title-holders, having won against Somerset in the 2024 final.
Here are the group-wise teams for T20 Blast 2025:
North Group: Bears, Derbyshire Falcons, Durham, Lancashire Lightning, Leicestershire Foxes, Northamptonshire Steelbacks, Notts Outlaws, Worcestershire Rapids, Yorkshire Vikings.
South Group: Essex, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Hampshire Hawks, Kent Spitfires, Middlesex, Somerset, Sussex Sharks, Surrey.
