Manchester Super Giants lifted their maiden title after beating Trent Rockets in the Final of the Hundred 2026. Here’s Wisden’s Men’s Hundred 2026 team of the tournament.

Mitchell Marsh - Sunrisers Leeds

M: 9 | 416 runs at 46.22, SR: 169.79 | HS: 76, 4 fifties

The Australian opener did not have a single one-digit score throughout the tournament, and ended with 416 runs across nine innings with four 50+ totals. Moreover, the right-handed opener registered 40+ scores in each of the first four innings.

Tim Seifert - Manchester Super Giants

M: 10 | 394 runs at 49.25, SR: 168.37 | HS: 80*, 5 fifties

Seifert’s 38-ball 72 was instrumental in the Super Giants’ chase of 159, as they lifted the Hundred title for the first time. Seifert has been a force to reckon with at the top of the order throughout the tournament.

Ryan Rickelton - Sunrisers Leeds

M: 9 | 345 runs at 49.28, SR: 173.36 | HS: 94*, 3 fifties

Apart from the duck against the Trent Rockets on August 2, the left-handed top-order batter was in excellent touch throughout the tournament. His unbeaten 94 against London Spirit helped the Sunrisers get to 241-2, almost batting Spirit out of the game.

Jos Buttler - Manchester Super Giants

M: 10 | 334 runs at 55.66, SR: 173.05 | HS: 90, 4 fifties

After scoring 16 in the first game against the London Spirit, Buttler bounced back with four 50+ scores in the next five matches, two of them unbeaten. Having said that, his 23 in the Final came off 14 deliveries, with three sixes to contribute.

Sam Curran - MI London

M: 7 | 218 runs at 36.33, SR 142.48, HS: 72 | 6 wickets at 27.33, Ec: 9.84, BBI: 2-22

Though suffering with an injury which left him unable to bowl in parts, Sam Curran was near his best with the bat. He struck at 142.48 with a highest total of 72 to his name.

Dan Lawrence - Sunrisers Leeds

M: 9 | 134 runs at 33.5, SR: 165.43 | HS: 51*, 1 fifty

Lawrence scored a brisk 25-ball 55* against Southern Brave, helping his side to a competitive 187-5. Lawrence, who is soon expected to chip in for Ben Stokes’ role in England’s Test team, scored a few cameos which helped the side in the tournament.

Mitchell Santner - Trent Rockets

M: 9 | 146 runs at 146, SR 158.69, HS: 52* | 6 wickets at 34.83, Ec: 8.09, BBI: 3-35

Apart from his decision to ask the on-field umpire to check whether he had made it to his crease, Santner was a great helping hand for the runners-up’. In the seven innings that he batted in, Santner was unbeaten in six, having been dismissed in their very first fixture against the Birmingham Phoenix.

Sonny Baker - Manchester Super Giants

M: 9 | 13 wickets at 22.15, Ec: 10.04, BBI: 2-22

Baker went wicketless in just two games out of the nine he played. His most economical spell came against the Sunrisers Leeds on August 11. Baker picked two wickets in exchange of 34 runs in the Final against the Rockets.

Adil Rashid - Southern Brave

M: 8 | 11 wickets at 15, Ec: 6.18, BBI: 3-21

With 11 wickets to his name, Adil Rashid was the highest wicket-taker for Southern Brave in the tournament. That being said, his three-wicket haul against the Sunrisers in Leeds helped Brave limit them to a competitive 187-5.

Richard Gleeson - MI London

M: 8 | 14 wickets at 16.85, Ec: 10.18, BBI: 4-25

Gleeson burst onto the scene with a four-wicket haul against SunRisers at The Oval, a performance which set the tone for MI London with their first victory. That being said, Gleeson garnered a wicket in each of his eight appearances in the tournament this season.

Josh Tongue - Manchester Super Giants

M: 8 | 14 wickets at 18.42, Ec: 7.93, BBI: 4-26

Tongue’s four-wicket haul in the Eliminator helped the Super Giants get past SunRisers, limiting them to 166/7. While Seifert led the batting charts for the side, it was Tongue’s contributions with the ball that stood out.
