Bangladesh beat Pakistan in Sylhet

The hosts won the first Test in Mirpur last week, and headed into this one hoping for a second consecutive series win over their rivals. They made 278 after being put in to bat, courtesy of Litton Das's sixth Test century.

The home bowlers stepped up in the second innings though; Nahid Rana and Taijul Islam took three apiece to bowl Pakistan out for 232 and secure a 46-run lead. Mushfiqur Rahim then starred with 137 in the second innings to help them score 390, setting the visitors 437 to win – it would need to be a world-record chase.
