England vs India (Home) – 5 Tests
June-July 2025
After another underwhelming WTC campaign, England begin their new cycle with a five-Test home series against India starting June 20. Their last home encounter against the same opposition saw India lead 2-1 before COVID-19 forced a year-long delay. Upon resumption in July 2022, England rallied to level the series 2-2.

Australia vs England (Away) – 5 Tests
November-December 2025 to January 2026
While Australia have remained competitive in recent Ashes tours to England – including 2-2 draws in both 2019 and 2023 – England have struggled to match that intensity. Their last Test win in Australia dates back to the 2011 Ashes, making the upcoming five-match Ashes series a challenging tour.
England vs New Zealand (Home) – 3 Tests
June 2026
In November–December 2024, England toured New Zealand for a three-Test series. Already out of contention for the 2025 WTC final, they finished the cycle strongly with a 2–1 victory. The upcoming series marks the beginning of England's 2026 home Test summer.
England vs Pakistan (Home) – 3 Tests
August 2026
England have enjoyed success in their last two away Test series against Pakistan, in 2022 and 2024, both away from home. They began with a historic 3-0 clean sweep in 2022 - Pakistan's first-ever home whitewash. Their 2024 tour started spectacularly, with England scoring 823-7 in the only innings they batted before winning by 47 runs. However, Pakistan rallied to take the series 2-1 with back-to-back victories.
England's most recent home series against Pakistan was in 2020, ending in a 1-0 win.
South Africa vs England (Away) – 3 Tests
December 2026
It should be a cracker of a series against the world champions, South Africa, who haven’t beaten England in a series since 2012. The last time the two met, a 2-1 result went in England’s favour. It would be interesting to see whether England would pursue their 'Bazball' approach in conditions regarded as less conducive for batting.
Bangladesh vs England (Away) – 2 Tests
February 2027
England and Bangladesh are playing a Test series for the first time since 2016, which was tied 1-1. The series could pose a challenge to England given their weakness in spinning conditions.
