Round 2 of the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament 2025 began on August 22: follow the live scores and match updates here.
The second round of the Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament kicked off on August 22. The tournament, held in Chennai, acts as the traditional curtain-raiser for the Indian domestic season, giving teams the opportunity for a final tune-up before the Duleep Trophy and Ranji Trophy get underway.

In the first round, there were standout performances from a couple of established names in the form of Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan, while Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ayush Mhatre both surprised with the ball.

The Jharkhand wicketkeeper who plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL, was dismissed for two off three balls in Jharkhand's second innings against Hyderabad.
Prabhsimran Singh's quick cameo
The Punjab and PBKS opener made 39 off 30 in the first innings against Madhya Pradesh hitting three fours and three sixes.
Prithvi Shaw makes another half-century
The Maharashtra batter was out for 66 in the first innings against TNCA President's XI, adding on to his 111 and 1 in the first round of the tournament.
