Defending 374, Maharashtra restricted Himachal Pradesh to 194-6 in 45 overs, winning by 180 runs. Ankush Bains top-scored for HP with 87, but it wasn't enough to get them anywhere close to the target.

Teenage off-spinner J Hemchudeshan, who took a six-wicket haul in the first innings, starred with another five-for in the second. Left-arm spinner P Vidyuth also took a five-for as TNCA XI bowled Chhattisgarh out for 141.

Chasing 179, Bengal were led by skipper Abishek Porel (50 off 42) and No.3 Sudip Kumar Gharami's (70 off 93) half-centuries as they won in 33rd over with six wickets in hand. 

Baroda were bowled out for 90 in the fourth innings as Indian Railways secured a thrilling victory. Three of their bowlers took three-wicket hauls: Zubair Ali Khan (3-22), Raj Chaudhary (3-29), and Akash Pandey (3-25).

The Punjab opener has raced off to a rapid half-century, reaching the landmark with a six. Punjab are off to a flyer - 86-0 in 9 overs

Jharkhand made 218-8 in the second innings, setting up a massive target of 403 for Punjab in 45 overs. They have started off quckly, racing off to 25-0 in the first three overs, but how long can they sustain this rate?

Sarfaraz, who scored a hundred in the first innings, came out to bat in the 32d over at the fall of the seventh wicket in the second.

Railways struggling at 113-8

Up against Maharashtra’s formidable 440, Himachal Pradesh became 49-2 before Innesh Mahajan (71) and Abhinandan Bhardwaj (53, batting) brought them back into the match.

Ramakrishna Ghosh then struck with consecutive balls. Himachal Pradesh are now 156-4.

After bowling out Odisha for 310, Jammu and Kashmir were left reeling at 53-4. Paras Dogra (30, batting) and Kawalpreet Singh (26, batting) then pushed them to 104-4.

Punjab openers Jaskaranvir Paul (34) and Harnoor Singh (55) added 91, but Jharkhand struck thrice in four overs to reduce them to 97-3.

Now 114-3, Punjab are still 152 runs behind Jharkhand.

Rahul Singh (58, batting) and Varun Goud (60, batting) have already put on a century stand after Tanmay Agarwal hit 130.

Now 342-4, Hyderabad already lead by 161 runs, and seem set to bat Madhya Pradesh out of the match.

Abhimanyusingh Rajput (61, batting) lifted Baroda after they collapsed to 90-6 against Raj Chaudhary (3-57) and Zubair Ali Khan (4-32).

Thanks to Rajput, Baroda inched past the Indian Railways’s 184, and are now 193-9.

After declaring their first innings on 346-9, Mumbai had Haryana at 8-2 and then 67-4, but Dheeru Singh (47, batting) have kept them at bay.

Haryana are 110-4.

Bengal slipped to 130-6 and then 170-8 as left-arm spinner DT Chandrasekhar claimed a five-for, but Saurabh Singh (45, batting) has kept them in the hunt against TNCA XI.

With 191-8, Bengal are now 12 runs behind TNCA XI’s 203.

After bowling out the TNCA President’s XI for 266, Chhattisgarh are in tatters at 115-5.

Spinners P Vidyuth and J Hemchudesan have taken two wickets apiece.

After bowling out TNCA XI for 203, thanks largely to Rahul Prasad's 5-44, Bengal lost four quick wickets, bringing captain Abishek Porel to the crease early at No.6.

Sarfaraz Khan continued his form in the 2025 Buchi Babu tournament with a 99-ball hundred against Haryana today (August 26).

Gaikwad was dismissed for 133 while Sarfaraz fell for 111

Rayudu's 5-44 helped Hyderabad bowl Madhya Pradesh out for 181. 

Ruturaj Gaikwad, who last played for India over a year ago, scored a hundred during the 2025 Buchi Babu Invitational tournament, which is serving as a warm-up for the upcoming domestic season.

The India batter is currently batting on 79 against Haryana. He had also scored a century in the first round for Mumbai. 

The CSK captain got to his 100 before tea, and is unbeaten on 104 off 131 balls heading into the third session of day one.

The highly-rated 20-year-old seam-bowling all-rounder from Maharashtra, who represented India at the 2024 U19 World Cup, has reached his century against Himachal Padesh, batting alongside skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad. 

The express pacer who has been out of the limelight for a while now, has already picked up two wickets in his first nine overs.
