Famous for the cathedral in the background and idyllic charm, the ground has had its share of controversies, both cricketing (the infamous Bodyline Test where Harold Larwood hit Bill Woodfull and Bert Oldfield) or otherwise (the disappearances of two young fans during the 1973 AFL match).
