India beat Pakistan comprehensively in the Asia Cup Super Fours match on Sunday (September 21) and England won their series 2-0 against Ireland. Here are the updated men's T20I rankings after both of those games.

Asia Cup 2025: India beat Pakistan

India started their Super Fours campaign in the Asia Cup with a convincing win against Pakistan on Sunday. Fielding first, India were sloppy on the field and conceded 171 in 20 overs with Sahibzada Farhan (58 off 45) anchoring the innings for Pakistan. But Abhishek Sharma (74 off 39) and Shubman Gill (47 off 28) came out all guns blazing in the chase, and effectively killed the game off by the time their opening partnership was broken in the 11th over.

      India won by six wickets and reached the top of the Super Fours points table. Bangladesh are at second, having defeated Sri Lanka by four wickets in the first Super Fours encounter on Saturday (September 20).

      England complete series victory over Ireland

      England won the third and final T20I of their Ireland tour on Sunday (September 21). They restricted Ireland to 154-8, despite Sonny Baker registering the worst figures by an England debutant in men's T20Is, and made short work of the chase. England knocked down the target with 17 balls and six wickets to spare, with Jordan Cox recording his first international half-century (55 off 35), while Tom Banton remained unbeaten on 37 off 26.

          The second match of the series was abandoned without a ball being bowled, and England comfortably chased down 197 in the first. During the opening game, Phil Salt (89 off 46) almost became the first player to score consecutive T20I centuries twice.

          Sri Lanka have lost one point following their defeat to Bangladesh and have swapped positions with Pakistan, who are now seventh. Bangladesh remain ninth, but have gained one point to go from 222 to 223. India and England, meanwhile, maintain their first and third ranks and Ireland remain at 11th.
