Corbin Bosch moves to No.3 in T20I bowling rankings

South Africa seamer Corbin Bosch has climbed 21 places to third among bowlers, jumping to 731 points following a three-wicket haul against the UAE and figures of 2 for 12 against India in a match-winning effort. The seamer has picked up a wicket in all four games that he has played in the competition thus far, and currently has seven scalps. His spell against India, praised by India’s batting coach Sitanshu Kotak for his deceptive lengths, has ensured he is now the top-ranked South African in the bowler’s list.

There were other movements among the bowlers, too, in the top ten: West Indies fast bowler Matthew Forde has jumped 23 places to seventh, after picking up five wickets across his last two games. He has also achieved his best-ever rating, with 679 points, while India pacer Jasprit Bumrah has risen seven spots to eighth. India spinner Varun Chakravarthy retains the top position in the bowling rankings despite an expensive outing against South Africa.

Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan reaches third among T20I batters

Opener Sahibzada Farhan reached a new career-high rating of 810 after moving up two places to third among batters. The current top run-scorer in the competition, Farhan, has 283 runs at an average of 70.75 and a strike rate of 158.10, along with a hundred. No other Pakistan batter has more than 111 in the tournament, highlighting his impact for the team.

In the batting rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma continues to hold the No. 1 position despite modest returns early in the tournament, maintaining a 62-point lead over England’s Phil Salt. Abhishek scored three ducks in a row, and a 15 against South Africa, failing to live up to his reputation as the world’s most dangerous batter. India wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has climbed three places to fifth, while South Africa’s Dewald Brevis has entered the top 10 after gaining ten positions to ninth.

Among all-rounders, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza has returned to the top position, overtaking Pakistan’s Saim Ayub after contributions of 45 against Sri Lanka and 27 against the West Indies during the past week. India’s Shivam Dube has advanced two places to seventh, while Afghanistan veteran Mohammad Nabi has moved up three spots to eighth.
