Pakistan completed the Super Eights lineup for the 2026 T20 World Cup, while South Africa and India also won on day 12 of the tournament. Here are the standings after Wednesday's three matches.
T20 World Cup 2026: Day twelve recap
South Africa vs UAE
Batting first in Delhi, the UAE were never really able to get their innings going against a South Africa side from which several key players had been rested. Alishan Sharafu top-scored with 45 as they made 122-6, Corbin Bosch the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3-12. The Proteas knocked off the required runs in 13.2 overs to make it four wins out of four in the tournament so far.
Pakistan vs Namibia
In the most consequential game of the day, Pakistan elected to bat first and made a stiff 199-3, powered by Sahibzada Farhan's maiden T20I century, although the story of the innings was that Babar Azam was not called upon to bat at all.
Namibia's chase never got off the ground as they were eventually bowled out for 97 to give Pakistan their biggest win at a men's T20 World Cup. Spinner Usman Tariq took 4-16, and keeper Usman Khan effected four dismissals – three catches and a stumping.
India vs Netherlands
India chose to bat after winning the toss in their dead rubber against Netherlands, and made 193-6 thanks largely to Shivam Dube's 66 off 31, with thirties also coming from Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya. The Dutch made a decent fist of an uphill task as they saw out the 20 overs to score 176-7.
